Fruit is always tastier when you go to the source. Not that you needed another reason to get to trendy Tulum, which is filled with incredible local eateries. Flor de Michoacán is a charming little mom-and-pop roadside shop that has every tropical flavor of juice under the sun. They’re famous for their paletas (popsicles), but the aqua frescos are just as sweet–and exactly what you’re yearning for after an eating marathon. They’ll make any flavor combo your heart desires, but we like keeping it simple here; try the fresh watermelon juice, or watch them crack a coconut right in front of you and scrape every last bit into your cup. Your coconut water back at home will never be the same.

The Butcher’s Daughter, New York City 

If California is synonymous with organic, New York City’s middle name is trendy. Juice bars and health stores line every borough; you can always get your vitamin fix after a serious session of soul cycling. The Butcher’s Daughter takes juicing to the next level, with several packages like “Get Clean”, where you fill yourself entirely with mega-nutritious liquids — the perfect option if you’re looking for a full-on cleanse. Otherwise, for a quick pick-me-up, go for the Goddess of Green” drink with cucumber, green apple, fennel, and blue green algae. Oh! And you can even pre-order your juice so it’s reach when you arrive… one place you’ll actually be able to skip the line in New York.

Tom’s Juice Bar, St. Barts 

There’s something about being right beside the sea that makes you feel totally energized. Tom’s Juice Bar is perfectly in line with the natural energy you’ll feel from the island at their quaint little juice bar in Gustavia (they just moved from St. Jean beach.) The owners were inspired by the juice life while traveling in Australia when they discovered the Byron Bay Ginger Drink, so it only feels right to try their spinoff: ginger, orange tumeric and cayenne. But, if you want to treat yourself to something a little heartier, go for the orange, banana and mango smoothie—consider it the grown-up version of your childhood milkshake.
